Foster Contract
This is a contract between East Texas Horse Rescue and Sanctuary,Inc.
(hereafter referred to as ETHRS) and _______________________________________,
residing at____________________________________________________________,
(hereafter referred to as the foster home). This contract will remain effect from the date of the
signature of the foster home until such time as the last equine owned by ETHRS is removed from
the foster home's facility.
* I completely understand and agree the any and all equines fostered by me for ETHRS remain
the property of ETHRS. I do not own and may not transfer, sell, give away, lease out, or
otherwise have or cause any other person to claim to have partial or full ownership of any equine
owned by ETHRS.
* ETHRS equine or equine's in my care can and will be removed from my care if ETHRS finds,
I am not caring from them.
* ETHRS can enter my property to do inspections.
* I must give notice the ETHRS in writing if I remove equine from the above listed address.
* If the equine I am fostering becomes sick or ill , I must call ETHRS for vet approval if not I will be

* I am responsible for all feed and hoof care cost.
* I will allow potential adopters to visit the equine on my property with notice.

* I understand the foster home has first choice to adopt the equine that their fostering.I have two
weeks to decide if I want to adopt the equine after it goes up for adoption, If I don’t adopt the
equine, it will be posted to other members for adoption.
