East Texas Horse Rescue and Sanctuary would like Horse owners to learn from this experience the staff of ETHRS
has encountered. Horse owners should take the responsibly for their horses. Our vet charges us $30.00 to
euthanize. The city land field charges $60.12 to dispose of a horse (your county,or city may have different prices).
The owner of Lady wrapped her leg to pass her off to someone else.Ladys previous owner let her suffer a long time,
We have graphic pictures we will not post on our web site.
Thanks to ETHRS Lady no longer suffers... Lady can run free in Heaven...

Yonder
A voice which only he could hear
Whispered " Come" close to his ear.
He saddled up and rode away
To find somewhere a fairer day.
With meadows green from gentle rain
Away from earthly strife and pain.
His favorite horse ,his trusted pal,
Stands with saddle in the corral.
And though we're sad he's gone away,
We know we'll meet again some day.
On some high ridge where things are fair
We know that he'll be waiting there.
At that last roundup God has planned
We'll meet there in the promised land.
On tireless horse,with flawless stride
We'll make that last, eternal ride.
Together.
