Nelly ETHRS # 51
Nelly ETHRS # 51, Nelly was abandoned by her owners in Nacogdoches County
for several months. A concerned citizen contacted ETHRS and immediately ETHRS
members went to her rescue. Friday January 13th.2006 Nacogdoches County
awarded Nelly to ETHRS.
Nelly's future is unclear she is an older mare that needs special care. Nelly is
currently under veterinary care while being stabled at our barn.
Nelly Passed away February 1 , 2006

Dan-The-Man Ethrs #12
Dan the Man is an older man, Dan is so sweet, Dan needs a forever loving
home.He can be ridden.Dan was donated by his previous owner.

ETHRS # 66 Happy
ETHRS was going to seize Happy from his neglectful owner and they opted to surrender
him to the rescue.
Happy is 31 years old and he won my heart in the short months he was with us, He was
always Happy to see us as he would nicker each time he seen us.
Happy was with us for four months as he progressed gaining weight he was so in-mobile
the lamina died in his hooves there for abscess developed and infections set in. Happy
would have never lead a pain free life.
ETHRS gave Happy the greatest gift of all, on November 21, 2006 we set Happy Free.

ETHRS # 37 Travis
Travis died September 21,2007 . In spite of ETHRS efforts
we lost Travis when he became affected with West Niles due
to Travis being so wild we could not pen him or catch him to
vaccinate him against this horrible diseases . ETHRS is
seeking funds to build a pipe catch pen with a shoot to pen
for vaccinations. Without vacations your horses can become
affected by one mosquito and die a horrible death, Please
Vaccinate your Horses.

Sugar died of Old Age October 22,2007 Sugar was a sweet ol' girl in her on ways, Those
that knew Sugar loved her. A Special Thanks to Sugars Foster Mom "Pam" Thank You!
Now Sugar runs free in Greener Pastures with others that she knew."Bless You Sugar"
