This Memorial page is Dedicated to the following Persons and Horses:
J.R. SANCHES, 08-02-1915 / 09-22-1998 Mr. Sanches is what most
people called him but to us the founders of East Texas Horse Rescue
and Sanctuary called him PAPA, he was our Papa, Papa always loved
horses and toted many bag of feed for us grandkids (Faith,Patricia) and
he fed and took care of our first Pony Prince, then our horse Neisha.
Papa we Love and miss you and we will keep your Memory Alive!
ALMA MILLER, Alma always had a love for Horses, All the Horses at
ETHRS thanks Alma for helping them.
Roland Dwayne Peacock 37, tragically killed April 09, 2005.
Roland was a loving Father, Husband and Son. He was loved by all that
knew him and loved all those he knew. He will be greatly missed but
never forgotten.
Barbara Levitzki 43, Barb passed away when cancer came into her life
very fast with no warning at all.Barb was a great asset to ETHRS, Barb
was kind to all animals and people too! Barb was on this earth to help
everyone and anyone that crossed her path. Barb we all love you and we

Arthur E Garrett the 3rd, 05/31/1949 / 12/20/01, Arthur loved
his Horse ( Peppy ). His Family said Arthur would help with
ETHRS if he was still on earth.

Lets Keep "Denny" and "Enchanted" Memory Alive,
Denny and Enchanted lived on a 15 acre ranch and died before they
could grow old. Their Deaths was devastating and overwhelming for
their owner. Denny was only 6 months old and Enchanted was 1 1/2 yr.
old. They run in Heaven now pain free.

Ruth was a member of the Arabian Horse Club. She also helped Sally &
Julie Rehab. A horse they named Project. Ruth loved all animals on this
earth. Ruth also had a dog named Lady.

to foster rescue horses. Levi's life was short lived and he didn't get to do

battle with leukemia.
In Memory of Stanley Dale Chamberlain
Stanley passed away Oct. 16, 2009. Stan will be missed by his family and
friends, his memory shall live. Stan loved animals, especially horses. He
was involved in caring for and training horses. He was a good man with

In Loving Memory of Robert "Frank" Jocelyn
Robert "Frank" Jocelyn Funeral services for Robert "Frank" Jocelyn, 59,
of Lufkin will be held Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the
Carroway Funeral Home Chapel. Masonic graveside services will follow
in the Aldredge Cemetery under the auspices of the Lufkin Masonic
Lodge #669 A.F. & A.M. Mr. Jocelyn was born October 28, 1950 in Flora,
Illinois to the late Betty (Reed) and Robert Jocelyn, and died Sunday,
February 7, 2010 in a local hospital. A former resident of Edgewood,
Illinois, Mr. Jocelyn had resided in Lufkin for 30 years. He served in the
U.S. Army and was a heavy equipment operator for Lufkin Creosoting
Co. for 28 years. Mr. Jocelyn was a member of the Lufkin Masonic Lodge
#669 A.F. & A.M. He loved horses and roping, and was a true cowboy. Mr.
Jocelyn was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include his daughter and
son-in-law, Amy and Doug Devine of Satellite Beach, Florida;
grandchildren, Wade Devine and Tessa Devine, both of Satellite Beach,
Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Cheryl and Denny Peters of Morris,
Illinois; nieces, Carrie Hataway and Lori Wallace; and his beloved horse,
Goose. In addition to his parents, Mr. Jocelyn was preceded in death by
his daughter, Beth Jocelyn. Pallbearers will be David Vines, Mike
Malcom, Tommy Miller, Tom Seau, Court Perry and Larry Perry. Honorary
pallbearers will be Wade Devine, Jimmy Townsend, Doug Devine, David
Lawson and Denny Peters. Memorial contributions may be made to the
East Texas Horse Rescue and Sanctuary, Inc., 12992 State Highway 21
E, Alto, Texas 75925. Carroway Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
